Is there a cookery book or website that helps with food planning?

Ive never done this before, I shop daily based on what I fancy and throw a lot of food away.
I know that if I cook a roast chicken I can then do a chicken curry the next day, but that's as far as I can think, so is there a book or site I can just copy to get me going?

Thank you,

Jamie Oliver has a new book out which goes in conjunction with his current show which is on on a Monday night. It is pretty good for different ideas for reducing spend and wastage.

Aggie Mckenzie has a good book here which gives 4 weeks of meal plans and gives meals that use up left overs from earlier in the week.
