I currently drink Douwe Egberts gold and Kenco decaff - usually try and get them when on offer but wondered if any of the value coffees or Aldi/Lidl are any good?
thanks

I quite like Sainsburys Gold Roast in both full caff and decaff. Also Waitrose own isn't bad either. I haven't actually tried any of the really cheap 'value' ones, but the Sainsburys Gold really is lovely.

Rapport is vile.

There was a thread about this ages ago, one poster said to make a super concentrated strong espresso in a stove top pot and keep it chilled in the fridge and dilute it as needed.

I'm not a coffee drinker, stomach ulcer, but it sounded like something available years ago in the chilled cabinet that was liquid coffee.

Tesco own brand decaf is very nice we've swapped from more expensive brands to this as we prefer the taste

Sainsbury's Basic granules taste fine to me.

I stock up on French ground coffee whenever we go over, it is a lot cheaper over there (we get Grand Mere)

I second Sainsbury's basic granules (though our local store seems to have stopped selling them) recently got Lidls cheapest one and have to say, it isn't appealing.. though had been having Dowe Egburts (on offer) so maybe my taste buds had changed slightly.
