Asda have reduced the price of sausage casserole mix, chilli con carne mix, and beef casserole mix to just 8p. These were quite low down and not immediately spotted on the shelf.
You can you these as a base for other dishes ie: sausage casserole can be used for moussaka just add paprika.
The beef casserole teamed with smart price tinned potatoes, (21p) and some whoopsed veg - carrots are always in the whoopsed section and instead of diced beef use whoopsed mince to make meatballs.
