I'd check out what kind of prices what you have goes for on eBay - playmobil and happyland fetch good prices!

You may find it hard to get the prices you want at a car boot. Facebook local selling pages are a good halfway house between boot fairs and Ebay - and less hassle!

Tbh I don't care about getting loads I just don't want to get hassled by someone jumping me and insisting on taking the lot for a fiver.
Happened with Lego: I'd have been happier waiting and selling bits rather than instigating a fight between two people both insisting their grandson wanted it.

Lol at manky ponies, ours are all second hand they wash up fine which is good as ours had to come to the beach last week!

Happy land will sell on eBay I currently have a few sets on my watch list and it gets lots of interest.

I can't decide what stuff to keep for possible grandchildren and what stuff to sell. Given up on eBay as too much hassle. I thought playmobil might be good to get rid of.

Yes play mobile will sell well, if you don't want to eBay try local fb selling pages and Gumtree etc.

Also our local wait rose has a noticeboard for advertising stuff, we have got toys/furniture from there and sold stuff that way. Plus my local post office has a similar noticeboard.

Keep the Playmobil for the grandchildren. My mother in law has playmobil from when it first was invented, and my children still play with it.

There are many collectors around and you can get a reasonable price for it.

See I dotn like play mobile, we gave ours away a a it was always coming apart and just drove me mad! But it does sell well.

Checked the ponies and they are all boring g2 ones. Will take them - shame you aren't nearer 5!

Some of the older Happyland is quite collectible too and can make decent money on Ebay. Sets like the hospital, knights castles, lighthouse, chip shop and fishmongers can go for quite a bit. Even the figures alone can go for decent amounts, especially if you have hard to find ones - the fairies are v popular. Worth checking completed listings.

The 'Manky ponies' will be ideal for collectors like myself who strip them down and remodel, so if your listing on eBay, use the word bait. If there in good nick, wash them up and find out the name (look on eBay for same pony) and what generation it is and you'll get lots of interest as those are the search terms collectors use.

Oh no, I freecycled our Playmobil - all those bits everywhere that came apart - I didn't have original boxes or anything and couldn't guarantee I had all the pieces. I have kept the lego though as I think it is fab and can be used forever.
