Free food for children at restaurants ( where food is good!)

Hi,

I have come across two places in the past few weeks that serve free food for children if an adult is with them on certain days. It seems the sort of offer I'd like to know about if anyone else spots it (as long as the food is really good!). For what it is worth the White Lion pub in Clifton has the offer on Saturdays (food okay) & Real Man Pizza Company ( which has a long pizza and pasta menu and 16 ice creams!) based on the Clerkenwell Road in London EC1 near Holborn runs this deal on Saturdays.

Does anyone know of any other offers like this where the food is really good?

I think some of the chain restaurants do this but I can't vouch for the food.

I prefer not to back the chains and their food is normally pretty bland. I am looking to save money but I prefer to back stand alone operations ethically and I want to go where the food is really good. I hope that does not sound too picky.

Well I would have said Pizza Hut and beefeater....
