repaying a payday loan

A week or so ago I took a payday loan (I know, I know) of £100 - total repayable £115. I got paid today so it was due to come out.... but it hasn't. What should I do? I'm desperate to get rid of it and really scared they will try and screw me over some how by getting me to keep it longer than I want. Their phone number is 40p/min and I keep getting in a queue..
Please help!

Stay on hold. The 40p a minute will be far cheaper than the few for paying late. Hope you get it sorted soon

I agree, stay on hold until you get through.

also try saynoto0870 to see if anyone has found a cheaper number.

Thank you, lovely people.
Finally got through and spoke to someone who informed me the balance has been paid off in full, so dunno why it didn't show on statement. I am SO relieved.
I will never use a bloody payday loan again, I am already horribly short this month. Big weight off my mind though!

excellent.

can you investigate some help with creditors and budgeting? (or have you already done that).

and yes, please stay away from these people with their enormous interest rates.

StuffezLaYoni · 01/06/2013 17:54

Well, I'm moving soon and although the rent is similar, I will be better off as
a) Pay will increase by approx £120/month
b) Fuel bills will be approx £40/Month instead of £120
c) No water/sewage rates
d) No town/pub within walking distance!

I am paying debts off already - just far too slowly. I won't be using these people again though - talking to them was stressful and I've spent about a tenner on calling them!!!

Well done, glad it's paid off.

Good luck with the move when it happens.
