Apart from bills, I am aiming to spend no more than £30 a week this month! (This £30 is my bus fare with £8 for bread/milk through the week as no space to freeze)

Up it to £40 if that is all it covers. Everyone needs a contingency and you will feel bad if you go over £30 for something that you really need. Then at the end of the week put whatever you have left in a 'treat tin'.

I am trying to up my bank balance, as we will hopefully be moving within the next month or so and want to be able to get decorating supplies.

I will up it to the £40 and stick the extra in piggy bank :)

How many people are you catering for? Sounds a bit tight but what an achievement if you can manage it?
