What sells well on ebay and elsewhere?

Would love to have a clear out and raise some money at the same time, but am not sure where to start.

Should I do clothes bundles?

Electronics, gadgets, phones sell well, even if broken.

Clothes, not so much unless good brands.

Anything for the garden is flying at the moment - furniture, toys.

I've sold the following recently:

• designer handbag and belt that I've been hanging onto for ages that is now back in fashion
• kids bike
• camera
• designer kids shirt

I'd definitely check out the Royal Mail costs as these have changed fairly recently. You might find the postage costs a bit prohibitive for bulky items.

If you are on Facebook, it is well worth joining your local selling pages. This means that you are selling to people locally, so eliminates the need to post items - people either come & collect or meet you somewhere or you could offer delivery for a little petrol money.

I find that bundles of clothes for children work well, or 'posher' (branded) items. Also, children's toys, bedroom furniture. Adult clothes do not sell so well unless they are branded (eg Nike, Ralph Lauren etc). That said, I have sold some size 12 tops for a teenager (6 for £5 - Next, Warehouse etc), so worth a try.

Also try Gumtree. Again, free to advertise with photos & local.

I sold 3 lots of the little life back pack/reins for £7 each. Reeeesult!

Decent brands of clothes sell well but definitely check the RM postage costs.
