Spare nappies!

Sorry I'm not sure where to post this, but bear with me!

I've got quite a few spare size one nappies, but not all in sealed packs. I'd like to donate them to someone who might be struggling and is in need. I'd rather not go through freecycle, etc. Does anyone know whether food banks and the like accept open packs of nappies? Or a women's refuge maybe?

Thanks in advance :)

Maybe give them to your health visitor to pass on to families in need or a refuge? Alternatively, your local church may be able to distribute them to any needy parishioners.

Good ideas, thank you, I'll speak to my HV first :)

I use cloth, but had disposables for the first few days, plus a load a friend of my mum passed on when her gc outgrew them, and the children's centre were pleased to have them :)

Thanks everyone! And I hadn't thought about mopping up spills with them. What a fab idea!
