Kind of depends when pay day is and how many of you there are...

Pay day is 28th of the month and there are four of us, 2 adults and two kiddies

Buy potatoes, rice, cheapie noodles, stock cubes, tinned tomatoes, chickpeas, cheese, eggs (shouldn't be more than £10 even with nice cheese).
Depending on spices, you can do:
-chicken paella (1/4 of a chicken breast)
-pasta bake (2 rashers of bacon)
-baked potatoes with mushrooms and cheese
-stir fry tinned veg and noodles
-bacon casserole (2 rashers of bacon)
-pasta omelette
-Spanish omelette
-chicken tagine (casserole with paprika, 1/4 chicken breast)
-potato bake
-chicken curry with rice (1/4 chicken breast)
-farmhouse sautee (potato, 2 bacon rashers, 2 eggs)
-cheesy mash with carrots
-chicken soup (1/4 chicken breast)
-falafel
Those should see you through until payday, assuming you have no friends willing to feed you, or things you could sell.

Hhhmmm. You should be able to do it if the £30 is for food only.

I'd do:

Jacket potatoes
Beans on toast
Veggie chilli and rice
Pasta and various sauces/bakes

If you can get to a supermarket that does the 3 for £10 meat then that could last you a week's worth of meals. Get a chicken and you can have roast chicken and veg (from your tins), risotto, chicken pasta. Some mince would do you a bolognese/lasagne with your tomatoes and mushrooms. That could be 2 meals easily. And a big pack of sausages could be sausage and mash, pasta with sausages.

Make sure you buy some potatoes (a cheap big bag), and use pudding rice for the risotto (cheaper). Stock up on cheap tins of tomatoes and beans and dried pasta and you won't go hungry.

OP, where are you? You should at least cook, portion and freeze the meat before it goes off. At least it's only 11 days to pay day now.
