At what point in the month do you start to count the days till pay day?

For me, it's about two weeks in ie now.

Bit broke at the moment as I have just come back from holiday- usually it is the middle of the month - get paid at the end - all bills come out at beginning

Same here with start of the month bills except mortgage which is mid month.

About 20 days before PD :(

Am always counting the days to payday but the last week of the month is torture. We never have a cent left.

I know. The last five days is just excruciating.

Have just checked account. Nail biting time now.

Massive bill today and mortgage on 16.

On a bad month it's about 10 days after I get paid. This month I have cut back as best as I can and I MIGHT just get to 5/6 days before payday before borrowing off my mum :(
This has only happened because I cancelled a couple of utility diect debits - so in reality I will just have a couple of BIIIG bills to pay when I move house in July/Aug.
Really worried.

About now

Usually about now (sometimes earlier) , but ever since I started getting my tax credits weekly, I count down til Tuesday to get me through each week.

Have just paid big bill. Moved some cash from savings. Realise how depressing this is becoming. I need to cut, cut, cut. And I feel as if I've spent the last year cutting, cutting, cutting.

Washing machine died. Alarming dripping from guttering. It's never ending.

Get paid onn the 28th and usually start counting down around about the 15th and panicking by the 21st

Our rent goes out about 5 days after pay day and pretty much wipes us out for 2 weeks. In theory because of tc and cb, we should actually have more spare cash towards the end of the month, never seems to work out that way though .

So 5 days for me.

On the day! I pay out all the bills and rent, top up oyster, see what's left start looking at when CB and TC due!
