Which wines are good in Aldi?

I tried a cava and it wasnt great....so which ones are good?

Fluffy - me and dp like this cheap as chips its very light, it depends what you're looking for. We like it with Sunday dinner and we don't get pissed.

I just can't bring myself to spend more than three or four quid on wine from Aldi, so I can't speak for the upper end of their selection, but there are a couple of whites at £2.99, one French and one Italian, that are perfectly quaffable (albeit not something you'd take to a dinner party). In fact the only bad wine I've ever had from there was an English white - that was 'orrible! But it was only £2.29, so I didn't feel too ripped off.

(Disclaimer- I think their cava's fine, so I probably have a somewhat less discerning palate than you...)

I looked on the website, it was the French sparkling I didnt like so maybe the Cava's better.

I need cheap booze to take on holiday in May.

Fluff they do that wine I linked to above in white as well.

Toro Loco-Rose,Cremant de jour,Cava,New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc,Rioja's.I don't think i have ever had a bad wine from there.But i don't buy the really cheap ones and i never buy english wine-tastes like juice or flower water to me.

The port is quite nice. Haven't tried any of the proper wine though.

The fake baileys is pretty good too! Not wine but we managed to get through a bottle over Christmas!

New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is really good.

The Budavar stuff is alright.

Second the new zealand sauvignon blanc tho not too cheap!!
