We really can't afford to spend much on Christmas presents this year for the dc and friends and family. Has anyone got any good ideas of things i could make for pressies this year?

I am making jams and chutneys for all the family this year- the house smells lovely while I am making it. Hope they like it!

I am making hampers for friends

I have brought jute bags from here the large bag

felt flowers to stick on with copeydex This will make the bags a little different and better than tesco ladybirds Wink

Then a selection of pasta 1.09, luxury pasta sauce1.99, ameretto biscuits 1.66 and candles 1.25.

I have brought hay from the pet shop to pack out the bag - think baby in stable and adding in some glitter strands.

For one couple i have purchased seeds for herbs and three little terractta pots for 75p for herbs on the window sill and a few bits I know they like.

Each hamper has cost around 10 -12 pounds

in the shops I have found them for forty pounds

I checked the stuff to go inside on the internet for price to work out the cost before I went and purchased the contents in the supermarket - rather than get carried away and then spend to much.
