Can I tell you about my new thermal curtain linings?

They are for eyelet curtains from dunelm mill and my lounge is COSY. It is in the shade all day long and is usually freezing.

I'm going to order normal pleat curtain ones for the rest of the house, I cant believe how much warmer the house is and we have double glazing.

fluffy - how do the liners fix to the eyelet curtains/curtain pole? I'm a firm believer in thermal liners but haven't seen any suitable for eyelet curtains. I've sewn 'normal' liners to some small eyelet curtains but didn't fancy doing it to my big long length ones.

They hook onto the rail using clear plastic rings, you can't see them.

Bit fiddly to put up but so worth it.

I think only dunelm mill do them.

thanks - will have to make the trip to a dunhelm mill. I know there is one in the area but don't normally go over that way. Have heard they have lots of bargains so probably will come home with more than the curtain liners................

I've seen some on e-bay and was debating buying some. I think I might now :) Thank you. My closest Dunhelm Mill is about 35 miles away.

Yay curtain liners for everyone.

I have thermal liners from dunelm in my living room and they do make a difference. However, in the other rooms I've sewn the IKEA £1.39 fleeces to the back of the curtains and this has worked just as well for a tiny fraction of the price. Where the curtains are lined I have just tacked the fleeces in between the lining and the curtain material and so you can't even see them.
