Checking receipts etc

I wanted you to know this: a couple of years ago I bought my weekly season ticket to work on my Debit card (usually get it on credit card) when i got bankstatement the amount had been taken THREE times I went to the station and saw eventually a supervisor who was unhelpful considering I have a photo on my travelcard logged at their station. I had to go up higher where it was suggested I had bought 2 tickets for my friends!!! I have bought the same weekly ticket for 10 years. I got one amount back but they kept the other I hate travelling by train now Yuck!!

So someone made a mistake or the machine had a fail. Couple of years ago? So what?

It was £20 down the pan but now I check everyhting lessons to be learned

Sorry if I was harsh, I was just wondering if it was 2 years ago why you're still worred about it now, it was probably just human error or something.

Posting something about checking bank statements is perfectly valid, it just sounded a bit weird from your post is all :)

Yes it was weird cos when went to buy ticket on Moday it was the same lady and blow me she messed up my ticket again though not to same extent. I thought it was interesting as a number of other outfits told me there had been numerous probs with debit cards reproducing the same amounts and assured me I was not the only one so I would advise you to check !!
