I do surveys for pinecone research (£4 in paypal per survey) and Lightspeed (earn points to convert to paypal or other items).

Goober · 21/07/2010 22:21

I do the Yougov surveys. Haven't earned a thing yet but one day........I will have a cheque for £50.

marie24 · 21/07/2010 22:22

can you do the surveys any time or do you have to wait 4 them to send them?? do you earn much doing them?

OP posts:
marie24 · 21/07/2010 22:24

lol, i didnt know if u actually earn money or if its a scam

Goober · 21/07/2010 22:25

I have been doing them for 9 months and nothing yet. Only 1 per 3 weeks or so. They send an email with a link for survey, they expire after 3-4 days.

Tortoise · 21/07/2010 22:25

With the 2 i do, you have to wait for them to email with the survey. Had loads of payments from Pinecone and have earnt £15 paypal from lightspeed points. Have enough points for another £10 now but trying to save up more points! Get surveys quite often from them.

Main down side is the surveys tend to be so dull and boring and take 20+ Mins to do!

marie24 · 21/07/2010 22:30

how do u sign up to pinecone?

OP posts:
Tortoise · 21/07/2010 22:41

Think i was invited to join but can't remember how. sorry. Does it say anything on the website?

Tortoise · 21/07/2010 22:43

Found this in their FAQ section. HTH

Do you recruit new members through your website or take referrals?
Presently, we do not recruit new members through our website or take unsolicited referrals. However, we will be posting recruitment opportunities through banner ads on various websites from time to time throughout the year. If you see one of these ads, please feel free to sign up with us.

Where can I find the PineCone banner ads?
Unfortunately, there is no one site that I disclose to you. The banner ad placement is not fixed over the life of the campaign. The web sites that our banner ads may appear on are constantly changing during the course of the campaign.

bubblerock · 21/07/2010 23:13

I do pinecone and consumerpulse both very good but can be hard to get on. Keep checking MSE for adverts/referals

antshouse · 21/07/2010 23:18

Pinecone pay via paypal a few days after a survey. I get e-mail invites about once a fortnight from them.
Rewarded opinions let you collect points, about 150 per survey, and when you have 2000 points you can request a £20 cheque. I've had a couple of cheques from them so far this year.
Lightspeed also award points that you can exchange for e-vouchers (HMV, amazon etc) I save those to use at christmas and had £70 worth last year.
Ipsos also give points that you can exchanged for vouchers.

I also do you-gov. You can't redeem these points until you have £50 worth. Just reached that and still waiting for my cheque (can take 6 weeks). All the others have paid up though.

expatmum73 · 16/04/2011 22:40

Anyone willing to invite me to pinecone?? :) expatmum73

woollyideas · 18/04/2011 22:17

I do yougov surveys. It takes a while to get £50, but altogether I've had five cheques from them! (Took about three years!)

Moodykat · 21/04/2011 12:42

I do valued opinions and have just requested another £10 voucher. They email surveys through and then when you have £10 you can order a voucher for lots of different retailers - I choose Tesco! If you are interested in joining I can send you a link which means I get a referrel fee as well! Cheeky mare but if you fancy it send me a pm.

Rugbylovingmum · 21/04/2011 14:23

I have pm'ed you moodykat - I hope that is okay.

Are all these survey sites invitation only? I have signed up to Yougov but for pinecone and lightspeed you seem to need an invitation. How do you get an invite - do you need someone to recommend you or do you just have to look out for banners?

noodle69 · 25/04/2011 06:39

Yeah I do Valued Opinions and have recieved a couple of £10 vouchers of them. I could make more but I am lazy and dont always fill them in. You sign up and then they email you and ask you to complete them and then when you reach £10 then you get to choose a voucher from different places such as Tesco, Amazon etc or you can even donate it to charity. Its a good idea and they sent the voucher within a couple of weeks.

noodle69 · 25/04/2011 06:40

Oh and valued opinions you just sign up and dont need an invite. You do for pinecone though but I have heard with them you can get up to £45 a survey Shock Wish someone would invite me!

countydurhamlass · 06/05/2011 21:37

i do valued opinions and panelbase

SciFiFan · 13/05/2011 14:45

I do YouGov, Panelbase and MySurvey. Am working towards my £50 with YouGov (taking forever) am nearly at £10 with Panelbase and have received £3 from My Survey. I've been doing them about a month so it's not a big earner just handy pocket money.
