I started at 3 day job last week. Had long covid for a year- thought I'd improved. The week was a disaster- just wanted to lie down/sleep all day was trying to look enthusiastic. Was awful no memory or concentration. Do I just quit?

Not officially. I think I had COVID last year, I felt too ill to even organise a test. Since the the brain fog is the main issue I have and I'm really struggling to stay in work, even self-employed. It's bloody awful not feeling like you are the person you once were.

@DisforDarkChocolateI hear you! It's just the most horrible thing 😪

It's definitely messing with my mental health, I feel like I'm letting everyone down by being the new half-arsed me who keeps forgetting stuff.

It is a first week though, is some of it that normal stress and perhaps some unrealistic expectations on your behalf? I have a few good weeks and always think I'm better, what it is though is just a few good weeks. Bloody annoying.

I have it, but it’s my chest that causes problems. Still got to earn the money, though.
