Moderna for the first time and feel rough

I reacted very badly to the AZ vaccine which was the first one I had. Had 5 Pfizer ones after that and was fine. I had the Moderna yesterday and feel awful. I also had the flu vaccine on Tuesday but felt fine with that.
I had a headache in late afternoon and just felt slightly agitated and unwell. I kept waking in the night feeling sick and shivering. I've had an anti sickness tablet but two hours later still feel sick and am really hot. The headache persists.

If you had similar how long did it last?

I'm clinically very vulnerable hence all the vaccines.

I have had Pfizer but only Moderna booster, but a few people I know who had their very first vaccine as Moderna had the same symptoms as you. It's stronger apparently. Probably the best one to have :-)

@LegoTherapy All my vaccines in the past have been Pfizer.
Had my booster earlier this week - the pharmacy I went to said they'd only been sent Moderna, so it was that or nothing!
I felt unwell too - body aching, tired, feverish, as if I was coming down with 'flu.
It's par for the course with Moderna apparently, and the symptoms lasted a couple of days, so 🤞🏻for you.
