I've been poorly a few days now and am wondering if I have COVID.

What symptoms are people having? I tested about 6 days ago and it was negative.
My main symptoms are an extremely sore throat, mainly at night and I just feel exhausted! I've had a cold too but hasn't necessarily been the worst cold. It's the throat and general lethargy that is affecting me
I am on day 4 of penicillin as I thought it was tonsillitis which isn't really helping at all.
I'll get some tests today but I just wondered what the symptoms are at the moment

Very sore throat and constantly sneezing. Started off like a very heavy cold. A couple of days in I had aches and was shivering. I have mostly slept for the past few days. Lemsips have helped and tissues. I hope you feel better soon.

They're different for everyone. I have COVID just now for the first time and my main symptoms have been body aches and tiredness, plus a fever for 2 days.(Thought I had flu). On day 7 I lost my sense of smell. No respiratory symptoms whatsoever though.Whereas a few of my colleagues who have it (and gave it to meHmm), all seem to have the sore throat and a cough as well. I'm not vaccinated, they all are. I tested on day 5 of symptoms and got a very strong positive.

Sneezing was a thing last time I had it, lots and lots of sneezing with a sore throat.

Being on an antibiotic can make you feel awful, really really awful. And if you add a virus (any virus) it can be so much worse.

So you are taking antibiotics, have a sore throat and a cold so it seems that feeling lethargic would be expected. My gut can scarcely handle the antibiotics without leaving me fatigued and needing recovery time.

Thank you. That's interesting about the medication, naturally I want to finish the course. I still have such a painful throat (at night mostly) where I struggle to even swallow saliva.

I'm due at work in 2 days so I need to test either way. I am asthmatic and had my booster about 2 months ago and am entitled to treatment so we shall see
