Cough at night

I have COVID and am pregnant. The cough at night is driving me insane!! I can’t sleep and being pregnant some of the things that have worked I now can’t take.

what are your tips for this? I need some sleep! X

A large square pillow or cushion so you are are not lying flat or virtually flat and are almost sitting up. It definitely helps reduce coughing. Hope you feel better soon.

Hot cider vinegar and honey in water (not boiling but warm). Soothes the cough and reduces the mucus. Drink one before bed and have another one by your side to sip during the night. Even if it goes cold.

I agree, half propped up is the way. Pillows, cushions, anything you can find. It’ll probably give you backache but it’ll help the cough.

Steam inhalation with or without Olbas Oil before bed, then sleep propped up.

I have it too and it's so shite. 10 days and still feeling so ill.
