I feel so ill

I’ve got Covid for the 3rd time and it’s worse with every time it seems. I feel absolutely awful and my temperature is spiking despite taking paracetamol 😩😩 I have major body aches and my chest is hurting!

DH & DD have been so rough this time.

My DH has it and he is feeling really poorly.
This is his third time and definitely the worst for him.

DD has been ill for more than 2 weeks? DH 2 weeks tomorrow.

I think I have it but am managing to fight it off as they both have weakened immune systems. Cancelling my Covid vaccine due this week.

You have my sympathy. I fell ill about three weeks ago and it was just awful. I am still coughing and snuffling, but feeling loads better. I found my temperature went up after taking paracetamol, which was really weird. Ibuprofen was better at controlling it.

You will feel better, but it takes time. And if you are worried, ring 111. I had a six hour period about a week into being poorly when I thought it was all taking a really bad turn, but I made a cup of tea, checked my oxygen stats (which were absolutely fine at 98%)and sat up most of the night with the dog and the feeling of imminent demise passed. Steam inhalation was really helpful. It's an awful illness and I am finding I have no patience whatsoever with the 'it's a mild cold' brigade.
