Can it return after 3 weeks?!

Can covid go away and then come back again? I had bad covid for a week 3 weeks ago. Then another week of recovering. Then week 3 have been feeling better for a week and back to normal.
But now I’ve woken up with a fever, sore throat and aching again?! Don’t feel as bad as I did with the first round 3 weeks ago but it’s like the start of a bad cold. Is it just bad luck I’ve picked up a cold so soon? Or I remember reading a while ago covid can rebound?

We all had Covid 3rd week of September - I had it the worst, my dh and ds milder. They caught it again last week - both much much poorlier with it, whereas I didn’t get it. My theory is that as they had it mildly the first time they didn’t develop immunity whereas I did because I had it more severely, and that’s why I haven’t got it again this time. Whether it’s a brand new infection or the first one resurging I don’t know!

Both times I've had Covid, I've had it twice within six weeks. I don't think it 'comes back' so much as reduces your resistance so you catch things more easily after you've had it.

So I had it once at the beginning of May 2022 and then again towards the end of June, and then again in early August this year and again towards the end of August. Not badly any of the times, but it makes me very cross!

Every time I've tested positive I've struggled to recover for weeks and weeks each time. Last tested positive end of September and not been right since. This weekend the latest twist is a gastric attack which has pretty much kept me in bed yesterday and today. So fed up. Hope you feel much better very soon OP 💐

I had what i thought was covid on the weekend of 14/15 of October, couldn't get out of bed,all symptoms of covid same as i had last year, definitely not a cold, tested negative thought. Since Sunday i felt like i have been coming down with something, just tested positive. I am nowhere as ill as i was 3 weeks ago though .
