Just interested to see if anyone is probably Covid positive but getting negatives on LTF tests.
Asking because I had two work colleagues in my car last Thursday, both now positive with Covid (and quite unwell) since friday. I’ve been unwell since Sunday with Covid symptoms (but quite mild) and I have no respiratory stuff other than dry nose. Anyway I’m negative. In my colleges house their daughter is also
unwell and she is negative but they’re both positive with same symptoms.
Interested to hear if anyone has any knowledge on how the tests now perform with current strains? Im treating my illness as if it’s Covid as the symptoms match and although not bed bound I’m not well enough to go out anyway but I do have to take kids to school (other people’s kids) etc and I’m realising if there’s no way of testing accurately it’s harder to protect others isn’t it.
