Got checked at the weekend for symptoms fo high BP and pre eclampsia - headaches, vomiting, high temp and generally feeling unwell - all okay so done a covid test which is positive.

I feel pretty rough with it! Do I need to inform anyone I’ve got it? I don’t know the rules/guidelines. Got the aches/pains, head ache, sickness, fatigue - all the normal covid things.

My husband and our families are rallying round to make sure our 3 1/2 year old is cared for and all his and my needs are met to ensure I’m getting plenty of rest etc so lots of support in place.

Hi Op, massive sympathy for you! I had covid just over a year ago when I was 5 months’ pregnant with dd and it was miserable. I told my midwife and she advised me to get a pulse oximeter from the doctor to monitor my oxygen levels. All was fine in the end but I felt so rough! I’d contact your midwife first. Not sure if anything has changed since last year but hopefully this’ll pass well before your due date. And you and baby will have some immunity now as you go into winter if that’s any comfort.

look after yourself. In solidarity I am day 8 of covid and feel like death! And on holiday :( Dd is now nearly a year old and needs a nose wipe every 5 seconds and wants to breastfeed constantly! Hope you feel better soon.
