How long does covid last now?

I'm absolutely felled by covid at the moment. My worst time yet and the kids are grizzly so I'm worried they're about to go down with it too.

Has anybody had it recently and can tell us how long we're likely to be down for?

We had loads of plans for the last couple of weeks of the hols and some of them are refundable.

I had it recently and whilst pregnant and both times I’d say probably only around three days but my symptoms were mild … hay fever like symptoms runny nose but no other symptoms and no temperature or cough

Thanks for replying. I've had it more than three days already. If I didn't have to pee almost hourly I would hardly leave my bed/the sofa. I feel properly pants. Too tired to wash my hair sort of tired.

For me - 5 days from positive test to negative test, then a couple of days of feeling a bit wobbly; back at work after a week off. This was in February - not lasting effects at all.

DM - 23 days to test negative, still exhausted with no sense of taste and inflammation on her lungs.

I've just had it and was really poorly for about a week still tired from it now in week 3 but it's totally manageable

That gives me hope that I might only have a couple of days to go
