Hair loss...!?

I had covid mid March. First time, I felt rubbish but not the worst I've ever felt. My hair was starting to shed a bit before but recently it's massively shedding.

I've just thought.. could covid have amped this up? I also had the Mirena coil fitted in January but I'm not sure if it's that.

Anyone had this?

I had Covid last June. A few months later, my hair was shedding like mad. I could fill up my hair brush just by brushing it in the morning. My ponytail was pathetic.
It only shed like mad for a couple of months, and then stopped.
I now have a silly halo of new hair around my hairline, and constantly look like I have been dragged through a hedge!. But the shedding has stopped.
