Heart palpitations

I've recently had my 3rd covid infection. I had mini long covid with the first a year ago and had just started to feel better when I got round two.

I did have some lingering fatigue and brain fog from the second but not as bad as the first.

Although very brain fogged at the time I seemed to recover more quickly this time, except that 4 weeks afterwards I started getting a lot of fluttering heart beats.

I've had these before when hypothyroid and dont usually pay much attention but these feel constant. I've some slight fatigue too. But I'm also on hrt and querying if that's been affected by the covid (which I know it can be.)

Is this a thing?

I don't know, but 'mini long covid' isn't a thing.

Ok long covid. Short term long covid. But not anywhere near as bad as I know have it. So I don't feel able to claim that title.

Symptoms lasted longer than 3 months and gp said long covid. And I felt lots better just before I caught it again.

Cardiac effects of covid are common. Info here:

I am suffering from the same, I caught Covid in August 21 after even vaccinated. While I had covid, i had to ring 999 twice as my heart was beating so fast and honestly I thought that I will die from heart attack. It got better but I still feel heart palpitations especially before going to bed. I was also having a numb feeling for couple of seconds like electric zrrrrr in my left shoulder. This is eventually gone. I have no underlying medical conditions and not on any regular medication

interested as i'm the same as you, hypothyroid and on HRT...I had bad persistent palpitations for a good couple of months after my booster (hence not having anymore) so i imagine it may be a post covid effect. mine did settle back to "normal" within about 4 months but i find with menopause i'm really susceptible to adrenaline rushes so do get patches of palpitations but they aren't as persistent. My thyroid bloods are a bit out at the mo so also noticing that may be causing more than normal, when do you next get your levels checked?
