I had covid around 2 weeks ago. Was ok-ish with it, felt a bit rough but can't complain. Tested positive for 4 days.

But I've still got the cough. How long can the cough last?

I'm coughing that much my back is aching and I'm in pain with it and weak.

Anyone else can't get rid of the cough?

6 weeks in 😩 Still feel dreadful, cough was starting to ease but came back with a vengeance today after cold symptoms for a few days, I’m so sore and tired.
I slept for 3 hours this afternoon, a trip round Asda this morning nearly killed me, I was gasping by the time we got back to the car.
I have a salbutamol inhaler but it doesn’t seem to be doing much, my throat goes into spasm and I can’t get my breath, it feels like I’m breathing through a hoover bag - when I eat, the mucus in the back of my throat catches food, especially ‘grainy’ stuff like cereals + toast.

A plug in heat pad on my back is the only thing giving me relief, hot bath/shower just makes me worse, as does going out in the cold 🙄
I’m utterly sick of it, going away on the 31st and just praying I feel better by then.
