Work making me feel guilty having time off?

I work in a school with some vulnerable children who if caught covid, it would be bad for them, hence why I tested.

Tested positive Sunday evening and didn't feel too bad until Tuesday, now have a tight chest, fever, achy and exhausted.

I'm only on probation (as only been there 4 weeks) they are making me feel like I should come back in. I feel like I should have tomorrow off and then be back fully well by Monday (hopefully).

But now I feel really guilty about having tomorrow off.

How are they making you feel you should be back in? What are they saying?

Why don't you explain to them how you are feeling, and see what they advise? They may be comfortable for you to come in, if you are feeling more yourself tomorrow.

Sorry OP. It's so messed up that you are put in this position. I wish that your managers gave a toss about the people in their care as much as you do.
