Anyone get this post covid? I got covid way back in Dec and got vertigo then. I have had it off and on since. Days when I feel like I’m wobbling. Once badly recently when I threw up. I’m otherwise we’ll I think.

I have. But I have medication I can take now as the first bout left me hospitalised.

And it was post covid?

I did . I took Odanestron. The vertigo lasted about six to eight weeks.

It will help to find out if the vertigo is positional. As in do you get a spinning sensation when you move your head into a certain position? Like tilting you head up or down or to the sides?

Yes I think so

Then it sounds like you have positional vertigo. I get it a lot especially after a virus. My gp does the epley manoeuvre on me and it usually resolves it

Yes I had it post covid - it had just about cleared up (after 10 months) and then I got covid again. Still got it now 7 months after the second time. Its positional so doesn't bother me all of the time. It's annoying though. I often get it after a bad cold etc.

It is horrible, and can last months

make sure you inform DVLA if you are a driver, as you are banned from driving until 6 months after you recover

I had it terribly bad after covid along with buzzing legs and nerve issues, for instance looking up to do mascara was totally impossible . Mine has taken 6 months to resolve! I still get odd bouts but less than I did.

I got covid in feb had dizziness since, been to see a psyhsio & he said it was BPPV, done the eply twice and hasn’t worked. I’m at my wits end
