Would you say the attached is positive? It’s not a clear line if that makes sense more of a shadow where the line would be? Sorry it’s upside down I can’t seem to rotate it!

There is a visible line so I would say that is a positive.

Yes, positive. You can expect the line to get darker on subsequent tests before it fades to negative again.

It’s not a shade of red though if that makes sense it’s just a shadow? Only done it because I’ve been feeling off since Saturday night, body aches , chills, tired etc and wanted to double check.

Yes I'd say that's a faint positive, definitely a line there

But the control line isn't red either? So the test line would never be red.

C1239 · 27/02/2023 13:41

I guess I meant the lines not a colour more a shadow but clearly there?! I’m sure when I had covid previously it was a coloured line even when it was faint .

But if that was a different box of tests, the manufacturer might have used e.g. a red dye instead of a black dye? I think I might have some old ones stored, let me go digging and see if I can find an example.

I can't find them, but what I mean is that you'd expect the line to be a light version of the same colour as the control line.

So this linked image is a red control line:

And this one is a pretty much black one:

Oh i see! Pants it could well be a faint line then

Sad to say that's definitely a positive result. Hope you feel better soon x
