Using anti histamines for covid

How long would you use for?

I get really bad lingering fatigue and brain fog with covid. Now on my 3rd infection.

Last year Gp suggested trying some antihistamines. I tried loradatine and they made my eyes v dry so had to stop - it possibly helped. The one beginning with c didn't help.

This infection I googled and have been trying nytol -.I actually think it is helping. Didn't take it the last three days and felt grim (do have yet another virus though) but did last night and have woken clear headed.

In the past when I've had sleep issues I've steered clear though as I think I remember struggling to wake up and then wean off.

Just wondering how long it's worth using it for? I cant function with the brain fog. I'm on a lot of hrt and started testosterone a week ago too.

Dr Shankara Chetty used Anti histamines successfully in treating COVID and long covid. He has several videos out discussing this.

It's probably worth looking at food and diet in general that's anti inflammatory. Vitamin c, ginger, nettle etc are also natural anti histamines that could be incorporated into your diet.
