Metallic taste

Had covid about a month ago. Was pretty rough (again 🥴), but have recovered well.

Apart from the constant metallic taste in my mouth. It's there from the minute I wake up till I go to bed. It's making all food and drink taste odd too (some things I can't taste at all).

How long should I expect this to last? Any experiences?

im having by something similar. Had Covid 2 months ago and for the last few weeks I have a constant bitter sour taste in my mouth. It’s very annoying.

You'll be pleased to hear it eventually went. Probably took around 6-8 weeks after the infection, but it's gone now and I can enjoy wine again! 😆

Oh that’s great! I mean 6-8 weeks is a while but honestly I keep worrying I’m stuck with this forever I know everyone is different but hoping mine isn’t too much longer.

for me eating chocolate triggers so even worse lately :( so sad

This is useful to read as I am on day 3 and the weird taste thing has suddenly hit. Very metallic taste , and reduced smell sensation.
