So had covid 10 days and was my first time catching it. I had my 4th jab but oh my it totally floored me and still very tired and I'm dreading going back to work next week with feeling like this. I work in social care so had to wait to test negative for 2 days. Any tips. Please on how to get through a shift. All I do currently is sleep and after done a few bits around the house I'm so tired.

I had this earlier this year, try and rest as much as you can whilst you have to work but it does go away!! It took some time, you just have to be easy on yourself. I would say 4 weeks till I felt somewhat better, 8 weeks relatively normal, 3 months back to feeling energetic and exercise etc it may seem a long time but it goes quite quickly!

For tips on how to feel better from experience of this over the last few weeks - drink loads of water (like you're addicted to it), vitamin pills particularly C & D. Try and stay off the sugar, chocs and Christmas things. Eat a little but often. Take some snacks to work with you - grapes, apple, that sort of thing. Hope you feel better soon - it will take weeks but you will get there.

Oh and get some of those vitamin pills in a tube that you put in water - those were my lifesaver.
