So was in contact with someone at work for mon/tues they tested weds morning and had covid as felt ill tues pm.
Sit quite close
So far no symptoms other than a slight headache when i woke yesterday which went in 30 mins with no painkillers and felt like headache i get some mornings.
Took LFT weds and just taken one this morning as need to go to the shops which both negative ( although not well known brand)
Supposed to be meeting friends for a meal tonight , should I test again before i go ( will pick up some flowflex) or not bother if no symptoms?
I am just conscious its not been that long since contact 3/4 days so may take some tome to show , but I don't want to stay in for 10 days just incase as i did similar when DH had it and never actually got it.
At the same time i don't want to go out tonight then test positive tomorrow ?

Personally I’d be staying away from people for 5 days, and wearing a mask if I really have to go out.

BCBird · 23/12/2022 11:50

Perhaps you should explain the situation to ur friend to see how they feel.about meeting up.

Leggingslife · 23/12/2022 11:54

toomuchlaundry · 23/12/2022 11:56

You've tested this morning and negative so go out and enjoy yourself and don't give it a second thought

Really? I was in a similar situation and cancelled one appointment as a precaution but other than that I tested a couple of times and carried on as normal. I didn't catch it despite being in close contact for 2 days.

Yellowmellow2 · 23/12/2022 16:29

There’s no requirement to test! Just carry on with your life as normal. If you’re too ill to go out, don’t. If you’re ok, go out. You’re about a year out of date. Move on!

vodkaredbullgirl · 23/12/2022 16:33

Just go out and enjoy yourself.

Bananaman123 · 23/12/2022 16:35

Yes I would, I tested positive for two weeks even on days I didn’t feel too ill

healthadvice123 · 23/12/2022 19:12
