Does anyone else get a faint positive on these tests?

Every time I've done one I can see a very faint line where the positive indicator is.

Yes it's been happening to me now for the past 8 days with these tests. Initially you could only see it in certain lights. I've treated it as covid and isolated for a whole week as they did get a little darker day 3/4. They are now back to being light but I've had no symptoms whatsoever. I had covid once before in january this year and felt reasonably rough with it and had very bold test lines throughout, til day 9 before they went lighter, so I do wonder if the surescreen ones are just super super sensitive perhaps or react to something else.

I've got a different brand of tests to try tomorrow aswell so will see what they say.

Yes! It's so annoying! Sometimes it only comes up after the reading time (so after 20 mins) but it always seems to be there. I'm regarding it as negative. The app now offers a service where rather than reporting your test result yourself you take a photo of the test cassette and it reads the result itself. The app agrees that the result is negative.

Yep. I always get a faint positive on this brand.

when I’ve been positive the line is black, darker than the control line. I class the very faint ones as negative on surescreen for me!
