Etiquette for ending isolation?

We have Xmas dinner booked in a pub but my DH finally tested positive for Covid yesterday (20 Dec). I’ve just had it as well but am almost negative now so assume I’ll be fine for Xmas. DH will have had 5 days at home before Xmas which is the NHS guidance for isolation. Do we go or should we cancel? Wouldn’t want to infect staff or other guests at the pub. We have to decide today due to their cancellation policy. The pub said it’s fine to come if we feel up to it but still feels weird treating Covid like a normal cold after going to do much trouble to avoid it for almost 3 years.

I’d like to know this too.

Just go if you feel well.
How will life ever be ‘normal’ if we keep testing and isolating?
