Apologies if this has been done already. Since having covid a couple of weeks ago I ache so badly - wrists, knees, fingers and neck. Feel geriatric. Anyone else found a solution to this? thx

I’ve heard of a few people who have had low Vitamin D and low B12 after having covid. They can cause joint pain, fatigue etc. It might be worth asking the GP for blood tests?

Just treat it as a fever. Some people have low grade fever for few days after infection. If it hurts a lot , then use ibuprofen for 2 days followed by paracetamol for another couple days. If pain is mild then use paracetamol only.

If it doesn’t clear up soon I would see your Doctor for some blood tests - unfortunately a lot of autoimmune illnesses can be triggered by viruses.

I wish I had a solution for you as I have had horrendous joint pain since I had covid almost 10 weeks ago. It has lasted over four weeks. I went to the GP who did a blood test that showed raised CRP levels. I have a rheumatology appointment in January.

I have tried Ibuprofen and paracetamol together also naxproxen but that does absolutely nothing as well. Heat helps temporarily ie heat bag etc.
