DH father tested positive this evening. He had DS yesterday...
is there any hope at all that DS won't get it, he had it in June.
We have a trip to Lapland next week and just looked at the 'we cover covid cancellation' policy I paid for doesn't actually cover for covid - unless you are in hospital!
I am gutted, this was a much looked forward to trip and very expensive!!!!

Oh, no. If he had it as recently as June, there's a chance it will pass him by.. Fingers crossed!

The 'we cover Covid' policy that doesn't cover Covid sounds, frankly, shit - if the worst comes to the worst, he can't go and they decline your claim, it might be worth a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman, as they don't tend to look kindly on misleading straplines with exclusions buried in the small print.

My husband caught Covid the other week and passed it on to me. Our toddler son was with us the entire time we were quarantining but only caught it right at the end.

Fingers crossed your son didn't pick it up and you get to take your trip! :D

We tested negative a week after we got it first time, and 5 days later the 2nd time. We also had it a week before going on a holiday, and managed to test negative just in time!
good luck

I'm on day 5 of Covid. DH isn't showing any symptoms at all. Adult DS visited at the weekend and I hugged him several times - he's also saying he has no symptoms.

Hopefully, having had it in June will also give your ds some immunity. Fingers crossed for you.
