DH and I have managed to avoid Covid since start of pandemic. On Tuesday I had the start of a cold. Felt a bit rough, runny nose and tired but decided rest and lots of fluids would fix me for the weekend. DH also started to feel poorly and yesterday he announced he couldn't smell the nasal balm. We have both just tested and the positive line showed within a few minutes.
We are both gutted because we are supposed to be getting the Eurostar to Disneyland Paris later today. I can't believe we have it NOW.
I have just cancelled kennels for our dog ( Im sure she was smirking as I rang) so definitely not going.
We both feel to rough to even think of travelling and all the hassle involved. Hopefully we will feel better soon. Bloody covid

Feel better soon.

I'm guessing that was meant for someone else!

Hope you feel better soon.

In my family two members have had covid-both (different times) as we were about to go away, so I feel your pain!

Thank you.
I felt a bit like Billy No Mates so offered myself sympathy. Probably slightly delirious!
