Has anyone had a positive faint line at the start of having Covid?

Just that really, my DS has been ill for over a week now, we’ve all had Covid and are now testing negative. He was poorly at same time as us and testing negative.

all of us went ‘bang’ straight to a dark positive line, we only got a faint line towards the end.

wondering if he’s at the beginning or at the end of having Covid?

I know lots with faint lines at the start.

My first positive was so faint, only reason I took it seriously was that I'd felt quite ill for four days and already had confirmed covid.

Yes. Symptoms started Friday - tested neg in the morning and evening; worse on Saturday but faint positive; didn't test yesterday but today it went strong positive before the reagent reached the control line.

Having said that - there seems no logic/rules when it comes to covid. I heard some getting strong line one day and faint the next after just couple days of symptoms.

First time very faint line on day after symptoms started, though I did forget I'd had a glass of water 15minutes before doing the test.
It was so faint I'd have questioned if were a false positive were had I not had very clear symptoms and two household members with it.

Yes, I had a very faint line with symptomatic Covid. Also, my daughter (who had Covid very mildly) was negative on the LFT but positive on PCR.

I know lots of people who have this and it's a positive test
