Covid and work

I have covid, tested positive on Friday. I stayed off that day as I did feel very rough, however work said I am allowed in with it so I will return tomorrow. I imagine people will know I have it as it will have been explained I was off last week, and I just think I'm going to annoy people by being back in the office. But I don't get paid for sick leave and I am legally allowed in the office.

No point to this post other than I am stressing about tomorrow.

I'm sure the pile on will arrive any minute. But if your don't get paid sick leave then you need to make the right decision for yourself. But why would anyone know why you were off? That shouldn't be information that is shared.

Please please take care of yourself I am self employed (therefore no sick pay) I returned to work too quickly after Covid and am still feeling the affects 4 weeks later. I have ended up not working more days if I had just rested a couple more I would have been able to return to work quicker with no repeat closures

Do you feel well enough to go in ? I tested positive on Friday and still feel absolutely horrific

If you don't get paid sick leave and you're expected in, what are you supposed to do?!
Easy for people to take the huff and say you shouldn't be there when poorly but bills won't pay themselves and you need to keep your job.

Depends how you feel, I have had Covid since Friday and feel a bit better now but I feel if I went out I would feel worse again.

Seems like a dim position to take by your employer. Can you do tasks that mean you're not close to other people or are you in close contact?
