Has anyone had this? I had no side effects from my previous jabs apart from a sore arm. I had this booster at lunchtime today and currently had a very upset stomach (not sure if the jab or coincidence) and am worried about feeling rubbish tomorrow as I have a conference in the morning. From what I've read, it says any adverse side effects are usually between days 2 and 4.

If you've had it, and had side effects, when did they start, please?

I had mine Saturday. Sore arm and a headache were my only symptoms. Was back to normal yesterday. Hope you are ok in the morning.

First day was just a sore arm but woke up the following morning feeling like death (thumping one sided headache, aching muscles... Managed to hold it together long enough to get the kids ready for school and drop them off then came home and had to lie down for the rest of the day. Next day I felt back to normal.

Hope you don't have similar symptoms.

Jab Saturday, vomited early hours Sunday and felt really poorly all day - like when I had Covid (in hospital) - no appetite and completely fatigued.

Fine on Monday.

Arenanewbie · 12/10/2022 22:40

I had mine yesterday. I have sore arm (started a few hours later), a bit of headache and muscle aches (started in the evening and continued until next day lunchtime), more tired then usual.
I took paracetamol and it helped.

Jab on Monday lunchtime. Had terrible non-sleep that night (so 12 hrs later) with bad stomach and was flu-like all of yesterday with bad chills, couldn't eat, and only started to feel better this morning. I had no reactions previously or with Covid itself!

applespearsbears · 12/10/2022 22:42

I had this one with no side effects.

FannyFifer · 12/10/2022 22:44

Slightly tender arm & nothing else whatsoever.

Whatevergetsyouthroughthenight · 12/10/2022 22:47

Had mine Sunday, slightly sore arm, all fine otherwise.

DotBall · 12/10/2022 22:52

Slight headache the evening of, and day after. No sore arm.

OH had his jab on Sunday afternoon, on Monday felt so rough he came home from a job (self employed) mid afternoon and slept though most of Tuesday. Complaining of headache, cold & ache-y. Hadn't had any reactions with previous booster. He's better today and feels almost back to normal. Not planning to get mine until I've got a free day or two to curl up and recover.

MandyMotherOfBrian · 12/10/2022 22:55

Nope no side effects, not even a sore arm. Same for DH. However a friend has been feeling so ill that he’s not sure if he did actually manage to catch covid itself before hand and the timing is a coincidence.

mastertomsmum · 12/10/2022 22:59

I had it today, interested in how many on here have had a booster. I’m 60 and asthmatic so NHS website would not let me me book. I took my 93 yr old Dad for his today and they offered it to me.

Tailfeather · 13/10/2022 07:25

Thanks for sharing, everyone. I have woken up feeling OK, so I'm going to the conference, hoping that I don't suddenly feel poorly later. X

Two relatives had it recently, one fine, the other ill for 2 days.

AnyFucker · 13/10/2022 07:31

Had mine. Next day had a sore arm and felt slightly “off”. I could carry on as normal though.

Mumsnut · 13/10/2022 08:20

I had the Moderna bivalent - no side effects at all
