Feeling guilty

I managed to avoid Covid the whole time , took my 10 year old dd to a concert last week and tested positive yesterday :(
I feel guilty that she has picked it up , I'm feeling guilty I feel
So unwell that I'm
Struggling to walk my
Dogs Around the field ( empty so don't come into contact with anyone else )
I have the most painful aching legs ( shins ) and lower back , nosebleed and feel really sort of dizzy / hungover .. temperature X fee boiling like my head is on fire
My daughter luckily seems to be coming out the other side and said she feels loads better ...
Is it normal to feel guilty :(

What would you suggest you do, avoid people for the foreseeable and become a recluse? Because that's the only way you'll avoid it. You wouldn't feel guilty if you'd been out and had a great time and caught a bad cold, so no I wouldn't say it's normal to feel guilty.

@hellcatspangle thank you for your perspective I appreciate and very much needed that
My dad just rang me and said almost the same
I think I just feel bad I can't do the usual
Dog walks or how the hoovering took me 20 mins but it won't last will it and you're right we need to do stuff and live
Think I'm a guilty person anyway though x

Of course you shouldn't feel guilty. She could just as easily (more so, in fact) have caught it at school, or any number of places. You don't know where you both caught it, and even if it was at the concert, that's still absolutely no reason to feel guilty. As a PP said, would you feel guilt if she'd caught a cold?

Hope you both feel better soon 💐

@VampiresWife thank you so much , you're so right I'm surprised we haven't caught it before from
School I guess ...
Thank you , neurofen is my new best mate lol x

Everyone will get it eventually, no point of feeling guilty. Hope you get better soon.
