Still infectious?

Bit late to the party, covid first timer. Felt bad last Thursday so took a test as I’d been in contact with vulnerable parent. Took another lateral flow test this morning and the result is still as vivid as it was last week. Am I still infectious? Thanks.

Nhs says 10 days after infection started you aren't infectious, that's if you are still testing positive. I'm following this advice in consideration to others.

I’ve got tickets for a sold out show tomorrow that I was so looking forward to. I won’t risk it.

Sensible decision, but do retest tomorrow afternoon you may be negative.

My day 7, 8 and 9 tests (when the guidance was 10 days isolation or 7 if you tested negative on 2 consecutive days) were bolder than my day 1 test!
