I haven't tested yet but I've had a constant headache for four days and upset stomach. Feeling knackered and I know a lot of people with Covid again. No temperature at the moment.

I had it in July, surely I have some immunity from then??

I know someone that had it in December and then again in April -maybe it’s a different variant or maybe it’s some other bug?
I hope you feel better soon.

RainStalksMyWashing · 23/09/2022 09:48

That's crap. Hope you feel better soon. Different variant maybe or something else?

Jennybeans401 · 23/09/2022 14:23

It could be a different variant, I've had a headache all day again and feel so tired. Thank you, hope this passes soon.

Oh yes, quite possible - cases and hospital admissions are up (despite number of tests being down) and immunity can be as little as a couple of months.

Just because it's not in the news doesn't mean it's not happening.

Last peak was July - so it's really rather likely it will be widespread again in Oct/Nov (newer variants of omicron being of concern or of interest, but as WHO warns, less testing means lowered ability to spot new variants early)

Chocolatetrifle · 23/09/2022 20:58

I had it in March this year and got it again this week. Cases reported are ok the up again so it seems.

Shinyhappyperson22 · 23/09/2022 21:02

It could be covid, cases we are seeing are starting to creep up in hospital. Schools going back probably the cause…. Also can get it twice quickly if different variants especially.

But lots of other viruses circulating too. Only way to know in most cases is tests, but rest up and feel better soon.

Jules912 · 23/09/2022 21:29

I had it in March and again 3 weeks ago, but I've also currently got an awful cold which is worse than the second bout of Covid was.

BlooberryBiskits · 24/09/2022 00:49

March & again now : only positive is it seems much milder this time around

Happydaysandhappysmiles · 24/09/2022 07:26

Also just got it again but haven't had it since last year. Cold and sore throat so far and hopefully nothing more just ruined plans. Is it five days isolation from start of symptoms now?

AnneBoIeyn · 24/09/2022 09:21

I've had it six times altogether, including three times this year - January, March and July. So it's definitely possible!

JamesBondOO7 · 24/09/2022 09:23

They are not talking re figures as want to give you that false sense of security but last couple of weeks its taking off again - more cases, more in hospital

Happydaysandhappysmiles · 24/09/2022 10:33

I have a significant birthday in November so that better be it for a bit! My family are all negative but rather tricky to isolate with small children!
