Nothing extraordinary. You might spend a few days feeling a bit shitty and then you’ll feel better. You might not even feel unwell at all. If you do feel unwell and then don’t start to feel better, you seek medical attention.

Hope it’s an easy ride for you.

Thank you! Me too 😂 did the NHS not contact you? Being CEV you may be eligible for anti viral treatments (that's what it said on the priority PCR test leaflet)

Either you get called by the team who sorts the antivirals out within 24 hours, or if you dont phone 111 as gps arent open. They then arrange for you to be called. You should be assessed to see if you still meet the requirement to get either antivirals or antibody treatment. If you meet it still then the choice of which depends partly on clinical judgement and partly on your preference.

If you have an antibody infusion then the appointment people will contact you, if it follows what happened to me. The infusion is really easy. Half an hour, then an observation period.

Then you wait to get better.

Hope you're feeling ok op!

I thought that the priority tests for cev were no longer valid?

GrowThroughWhatYouGoThrough · 21/09/2022 02:20

My mum was offered anti virals as she is an organ recipient however when she got covid and reported they didn't manage to send them to her before she tested negative! She was fine felt a bit rough fingers crossed that you have an easy time with it

My exh tested positive last week, CEV with MS & had the antiviral infusion two days later.

Hope they help. Don't panic if you feel a bit worse on day 5, a lot of people seem to feel a bit worse on day 5. But obviously if concerned call Dr.
