Lungs feel like they're burning- normal?

I know that covid has been here for ages but I've been lucky enough not to catch it until now. Tested positive yesterday and my lungs feel like they're burning when I breathe. Is this normal? My nose is blocked so can only breathe through my mouth which is so annoying. I can barely make a cup of tea without having to sit down, is this also normal? I'm triple vaxxed. I have other symptoms but these are the ones I'm worried about the most.

It's certainly not abnormal - one of the first long running threads about Covid symptoms being experienced on MN was entitled something like "Help, my lungs are on fire!"

I hope you feel better soon.

As JanglyBeads said it was definitely a relatively common symptom during the first wave. Do you have a finger pulse oximeter? If I were you, I'd get one and keep an eye on the oxygen sats, just for peace of mind. Between 95-100% is normal, below that you could call your GP or 111 for advice. Hope you feel better soon.
