Covid starting with vomiting

Just over three weeks ago I had a violent vomiting episode. Since then intense nausea and loose bowel movements.

Yesterday, I developed a temperature, aches and pains and cold like symptoms - got a whopping positive….

Could this have been Covid all along and my body has lost the fight so I’m getting more extreme symptoms. The nausea goes on and I can’t eat at all now.

Yes I had this, no vomiting but nausea and loose poo. I had the aches, really bad throat but no cold or cough. I did very little for 10 days as I heard a relapse can be worse.
Lots of fluids and vitamins will help ward it off further hopefully

My first symptom of Omicron was suddenly throwing up everywhere. Spent the next couple of days in bed with a head that felt like it was caught in a vice and the most horrendous vertigo type symptoms complete with frequent trips to the bathroom. Wishing you a swift recovery OP.

Thank you both. It’s been very bizarre. On the vertigo - I’m waking up at night and feeling like I’m on a ship with the room sliding to one side… there have been hallucinations too. Can’t believe it took so long for regular symptoms to show up!

I also had a feeling of extreme hunger but with nausea, its wierd as the symptoms don't stop you going about your day, however, just makes you feel spaced out and weird!

Yes I had this too. Not as long a gap but 2 days vomit / horrendous nausea, then more standard Covid stuff kicked in. Initially thought stomach bug but it wasn’t. Nausea did go eventually. Antihistamine for nausea helped a bit once actually vomiting had ended.
