If you've been in close contact with someone who has covid (Omicron), what are the rules? Isolate still or go to work?

Was on holiday with someone for a week who tested positive for covid 2 days after we got back. I tested negative when I heard (yesterday) and WFH today but also tested negative. Some say you should stay home to avoid workers getting it if you work in an office.

There are no rules. You might want.to stay away from particularly vulnerable people but there really are no.rules now

Check with your work as some work places still have policies in place that if you test positive then you wfh if able.
Depending where you are, there are currently not many places that have rules on isolation but I agree with pp, stay away from anyone you know is vulnerable. If you would feel better, you could wear a mask if in busy places.

There are no rules.

Its up to you to decide what you want to do.

it's down to your work policy

There our no rules. My work asks those who test positive or with household contacts to wfh, but come in as normal unless feeling ill or tested positive.
